Mayday...Mayday...
hmm...juz felt like using tt as the title... i tink it means an SOS signal for pilots rite? *reminded of it by the movie Armaggadon shown on TV last nite* And it's also the name of a taiwanese POP group which is rather popular in Singapore. wat else...? it's also another name for labour day in singapore cuz the day is fixed on 1st May every year.
Had been a very busy month for me...so the title is sort of appropriate in a way...i'm issuing a rescue signal...or rather 'was'. At the work front, stress is easing...and since May is almost over, social activities should probably slow down too...
May has always been special cuz my birthday falls on a certain day in the month. Nice number, 21. i like...sounds like a perfect number... eg for blackjack, 21 is like the max u can get. There's even a chinese idiom using the number, 不管三七二十一! That's y it's a fantastic number! haha... :)
May also happens to be a month of sadness for me cuz a few years ago, something happened to me during the month... the fateful day is 30th, i.e. today...details i wldn't elaborate... but this day will always bring sadness to my mind... :'( *observe silence for one minute* Though I have since put the episode behind me, this day juz have some kind of effect on me...
May - Wat else does May bring to mind? it's a word by itself which means 'chance' as in maybe... so it actually brings hope in a way... maybe tt's y i'm optimistic most of the time...and am able to bounce out of sadness and recover...* i wldn't neglect to mention the help of my dearest girl frens who helped as well, during the darkest moments in my life* But i am mostly optimistic...definitely... and esp after surviving the dark May in 2002, I have emerged stronger as a person.

Tinking at this year's May...I tink I had a wonderful time...went to cameron highlands for my bday. Is having a great time with my loving dear. Dancing salsa regularly in class and at Union Square... Learning Japanese at a higher level is stressful but interesting... Keeping fit, attending aerobics and kickboxing classes... It's all so fulfilling, juz a little tiring...
Here's to another candle on my bday cake and being another year wiser. Cheers! :)
