Taipei...Here I come!

Hehe... booked a trip on Labour Day... to Taipei! It's my bday trip and a present from my lovely BF! hehe..

On SQ...long time nvr pamper myself liao...most of the time, travel budget! Please dun tink that i did this cuz bf is paying... i asked him... he said ok. it's ard $200+ difference between full svc and budget and we tot for 4 hrs, better get a more comfortable one.

BF still the best la! hehe.. =)

My first trip there..quite excited... and got even more excited, when i went searching for a suitable hotel. Read all the reviews on travel sites... rainbow sounds gd... and a couple of others.. BUT rainbow is real popular cuz of its location, it's in the shopping area (Xi Meng Ting - xmt).. and always fully-booked. Settled for One Star Hotel... this is a funny name. It's actually a 3* hotel... but the chinese name is 万事达 and they did a direct translation! So the name became one star... anyway heard they are changing their name to Won Star Hotel liao.. Saw the pics of the rms - very pleased with the 32" LCD tv and the jacuzzi bathtub/shower!!! Gd value for a 3* budget hotel...and it's also near to xmt as well... I tink it's going to be a gd trip!!!

Gonna research more about the place before gg there... oredi got itinerary from a few friends who had been there!!! lists of MUST-eats/gos/sees/dos were shoved in our faces! hehe... very helpful friends and also shows how bz this trip is going to be... I hope to get some rest too...

Eager for the trip.... Another 8 days to go... YEAH! =)
