The above is my sec skool, River Valley High's motto. It's a v cheena skool by the way, which explains why the motto is in chinese and oso why i am so cheena :) AND proud of it.

I grad from thr 11 yrs ago. tt's a long long time...nvr been back thr cuz din really see much meaning in gg back. Cuz it's not the building that makes me feel i belong to the skool and the whole culture... There is this RV spirit in all their students. I feel. And in my heart, there will always be a special plc for RV.

It's where i build frenships which lasted thru'out uni days...and thru my darkest moments a few yrs ago. Now tat we have all started working and in very different industries and parts of s'pore, some gotten married, setting up their own families... whenever we meet, the familiar feeling is still there. we r still able to tok abt everthing under the sun. That, i believe, is the power of frenships formed during skool days. and esp in my sec skool days.

the deep frenships formed during those days oso cuz we were fully engaged in diff activities in skool. ECAs, like sports or uniformed grps... inter-class games, singing competition, drama...etc...and we had those assembly performances as well... fun and entertaining... OF cuz there were also days of mugging together... comparing test/exams results after that... I think I was rather good in Maths or smtg during those days... can't rem V clearly.. and i vaguely rem some guy trying to compete with me in that subject all the time... haha... childish...BUT tt's wat made us teenagers...

Really...those were the days... and of cuz, there were stories of puppy love as well... although i was never really attached during sec skool days... quite a handful of guys were smitten by me, OK! hehe.. =þ well...those days, i really looked real innocent and was REALLY innocent, btw....haha... so well...maybe guys at that age liked tt kind of look ba...if I cld get one of those pics, shall post one! then you'll know wat i mean...

Why i suddenly write abt my sec skool is cuz this yr is our 50th anniversary... and there's gonna be a celebration at Raffles City on 8th Sept 2006 at 7pm!!! See cheena info below...
