Being truly concerned...

Does it only happen to me? But i reckon it is very common..

someone talks to you, starting out as showing concern for you, asking you how you have been and when you say things hasn't been well, starts asking about what happened and ends up telling his/her own life story...and you becoming the listener more than the listened.... the roles ultimately switched....

so is this person exploiting you? catching you unaware and making you an unwilling victim at a time when you are not even prepared to take on someone else's troubles...
